Canadiana Grill By The Lake

Since our usual breakfast place closed down my friend and I were looking for somewhere to have breakfast. Well I think we found the place! This was our first time here and I'm telling you it is deceiving from the outside. First off it looks really small from outside but when you enter, it's pretty spacious! I think our server's name was Julia and she was AmaAzing! She was so kind and friendly and very attentive to our requests and needs. I would go there weekly if I know she would be serving us she was great! The food was really good and the price was reasonable for the large portion of food you get! We were so upset when our regular place Dundas Street Grill was shut down due to new condos taking over but we are so happy that we found a place we can call our new home! We had the big breakfast I think which comes with 3 eggs, bacon (or sausage) a side, your choice of toast and french toast. We also ordered a side of back bacon. My friend and I shared the french toast and the back bacon and I got bacon and she got sausages and we shared those as well. The food was cooked perfectly. Everywhere we go they never get the eggs right and well, here they did! If you are ever in the area, don't miss out on this hidden gem! Ask for Julia, you won't regret it! P.S. My review asks for a price we paid and I can't answer that since my friend treated me and she also picked up breakfast for her daughter so although I'm guessing in the higher range that's only because of the extras we ordered and her daughter's meal.

Always loved this place. Got a big renovation a few years back after being closed for quite awhile. I am so happy to see it back up and running because it tastes like home. The poutine has been consistently fantastic for 15 years and the price has stayed low. Always many patrons, enough to tell you the foods good but not so full that it’s loud and busy. I of course recommend the poutine, but anything on the menu is yummy. I’m very thankful that they are still doing the rice pudding as well. The location is very central, near the lake (obviously) so it’s nice to take your food to go and walk by the water. The parking lot has been a mystery to me since before I was old enough to drive, I would recommend unskilled drivers use the spots to the side of the building on the one way street. A great meeting place to catch up with friends or to have a quiet meal by yourself. I could not recommend another restaurant more.

This is my favorite restaurant! Hands down the best diner in all of Toronto, the food is great, very generous i might add, the service is always top tier, and don’t get me started on the food! It’s the best, and it’s reasonably priced! the club house is my favourite and the mac and cheese bites are excellent, so if your from the Etobicoke or mimico area I HIGHLY RECOMMEND COMING HERE!!

Canadiana Grill by the Lake serves a delicious breakfast and dinner menu at an affordable price. Atmosphere: The staff and owners are friendly and courteous. We go there for brunch on weekends and sure it's busy but the service is efficient... Food: 10/10 on the large portioned western omelette. The eggs were perfect and the bacon was crispy. Home fries are decent and plentiful. Their coffee is a good blend, not too strong and bottomless. Cheesecake Factory desserts are available at a fair price. We would highly recommend this family restaurant for any meal from lunch to dinner in a clean, relaxed & friendly atmosphere.

Went to have breakfast with my girls, had an amazing time! The food was tasty and we didn’t have to wait too long for it. The staff were all super friendly, and well mannered. Lastly the owner is so kind and welcoming, can’t wait to go again!

The best eggs Benny in Etobicoke. I order an eggs Benny from here almost every single pay day. Their hollandaise is to die for, best classic Benny in town. Anytime I try somewhere new I'm disappointed and come back to Candiana!
